Table Eight

Where women leading gather.

If you're afraid to use your voice, give up your seat at the table.

The Mission

What

We exist to bring together female leaders across all disciplines in London, because we believe that real impact—on each other and the wider ecosystem—happens when ambitious, outspoken women connect regularly and deeply. We do this through high-engagement, in-person events.

Why

Gender representation at the executive level is still a problem across industries. Women in leadership face similar challenges and biases on the way up—and once we get there, we’re often one of the only, or one of few, at the table.

Being in the minority in every room can be isolating. That’s why it’s essential to connect with other senior women in London—across all sectors—who understand the realities of leadership.

Yet, no dedicated community exists for this.

So we decided to create one.

The itch

Plenty of professional C-level networks already exist, but none of them scratched this itch.

We want a space to hang out with women who are united not by their chosen domain expertise, but instead by the shared experience of being a senior woman in an operational CxO role, across disciplines and industries.

Other networks

We’ve been part of many other domain-specific networks for years and have even run some of them (DGCN), so we know they have great value.

It isn’t about knocking them for what they exist to provide. It is about recognising that they don’t scratch this itch. Because they can’t.

The itch to give dedicated space to the shared experiences and systemic challenges that are unique to C-suite women who have a particularly low tolerance for bullshit - in any industry.

Without that space, it is hard to find each other. And if we can’t find each other, we can’t amplify each other, and we certainly won’t be agents of change.

We want to offer a table for women in the C-suite to build meaningful relationships across disciplines and companies. To make a difference, to each other, and the ecosystem we are part of building.

But first, we must find each other.

For support.

For celebration.

To share the experience of what it means to be a senior woman in these spaces.

It is free to join and designed for C-suite women who aren’t afraid to use their voice—on the issues that affect and occupy women—and who uplift others in finding theirs. All members are frequently in London, as all events are in person.

At this table, you are safe. At this table, you are in the majority.

We are a Board Room

Table Eight isn’t just a social or networking group—it’s the best Board Room in London. One made up entirely of cross-disciplinary women in leadership. Who happen to socialise.

Every other month, we meet at the pub (we call this the Stammtisch). No sponsors, no name tags—just a chance to catch up, meet new faces, and actually make time to grow our connections. We also run facilitated, ticketed events on the topics that matter to women at the executive and board level, because let’s be honest—there’s a lot to talk about.

By sharing perspectives, tactics, and approaches on how we navigate and show up in these spaces as women, we create the kind of safe, supportive environment that mixed-gender groups often lack.

As members of this unique and brilliant Board, we gain a deeper understanding of the systemic challenges women face across industries—through the diverse perspectives we each bring to the table. By identifying patterns, we can use our collective voice to drive positive, scalable, and lasting change for women in leadership.

Format

Here’s how we stay connected and make things happen:

  • We have a Slack Channel - a space to share wins, seek advice, vent when needed, swap tactics, and generally have the kind of conversations you can’t always have elsewhere.

  • In-person gatherings in London—because real connections happen face-to-face.

  • Structured, opt-in Board Room sessions, where we tackle the topics that matter most to the group. These are ticketed and facilitated.

How often, when, what topics? We figure that out together, at the table.
